10 Reasons to Use Apple Computers
Apple computers are known as the sexiest computers in the market. But Apple’s Mac computers have more to it than looks. In fact, a lot of people even say that its operating system and applications is better than any other computer they know of. So what makes Mac computers stand out from the pack? Well, below are some of the reasons:
Less software installed
Is having less software on your computer really better? Some people won’t agree but every IT expert will tell you that the less software you have the better. Why? It is because you will have more disk space, lesser problems, and faster processing. Apple enables you to install only a few necessary programs with a variety of applications.
The Mac OS X is more lenient
The Windows XP and the Windows Vista makes it difficult for you to install a duplicate copy on another computer. The installation is easy and hassle-free; you don’t need to worry about staying activated because you will be. The Mac OS doesn’t require you to register before you decide to upgrade and they won’t look into your computer to look for duplicate copies.
Mac pushes the limits
Apple don’t only push the limits of technology in terms of hardware, it also does this in terms of design and functionality. Mac is best known for its fruit-colored computers while other companies were pushing for the serious look of using black and white. It has also shown in versatility when it dropped the SCSI support and drop serial in favor of the FireWire and the USB support.
Mac can run on Windows
Mac computers can run on Windows but PCs cannot legally or legitimately run on Mac OS X. The question is, if you’re using a Mac, why would you want to run on other PC software? It is not really a question of why though because sometimes it simply becomes inevitable. For example, if Photoshop stopped working after you used Leopard, you will need to install the PC version on your Mac. It’s nice to have the option if you really have to.
Mac has a higher “second hand value”
If you’re trying to sell used computers, it is difficult. You will have to lower it as much as you could and you might not even make decent money for all your efforts. The PC market is crowded and trying to unload used goods into it is bound to be challenging. The story is quite different for a Mac computer. People will still pay for this stuff. And they will be happy to pay a higher price too.
Mac computers are hard to get rid of
If you need to replace your PC every 2 years to keep up with the times, you have no such problem with a Mac computer. Their applications are so far ahead of its time and are usually so useful that you can use it conveniently for years. You will definitely have a hard time getting rid of your trusty old Mac even if you want to.

If you are someone with a Blu-Ray collection who travels and wants a way to watch them on the move, keep going. The DMP-B500 has a 10.1 inch screen that operates on a 1024x600 screen resolution. The DMP-B500 does NOT have a native 1080P screen. It is, ... Read more reviews | ||

| Review by T. Nelson (Virginia, USA.) 2010-04-06 The reason they listed the resolution as WSVGA is they didnt want to outright state exactly what it was. WSVGA is 1024x600, which happens to be the standard on many netbooks these days. This device does not need to exist. At that resolution you would do well to just watch DVD's. It is totally unsuitable for watching blu-rays. It cannot even play at... Read more reviews | ||

| Review by Terry A. McCArthy (USA) 2010-07-26 Streaming video is the future of in-home entertainment and the BD65 is a capable unit. It pairs up well with my Panasonic Plasma.
