This is a great Blu-ray and audio in all aspects. I immediately noticed a huge increase in the quality of my old Blu-Ray player (Samsung) is the image and sound! Movies (both Blu-Ray and standard DVD) is much clearer and sharper! This is truly a landmark Blu-ray! The transport is very fast and looks good and 'robust industrial', is simply a joy to use. The player does not look very cool (plasticy or cheap looking at all). The on-screen menus are arranged very well and is very simple), as well as the firmware (both on the expansion of built-in Ethernet port or via a USB stick or a CD.
The remote is also a joy to use. It is backlit and the button layout so.
I wish that this player was $ 100. although less than that is a bit 'expensive (if it is $ 399. would be 5 stars hands down). On the positive side, there are 2 high quality video and audio calibration Blu-Ray and sound processing and packaging the player came top notch.
Yes, it is expensive, but worth it if it is at all as a reference with a player. I do not regret my purchase at all and on each disc, which I enjoyed so far. Even home-made DVDs look great upscaled in full 1080p!
